The Pittsburgh Steelers were a dominant force in the NFL in 1978, winning their third Super Bowl in a span of five years. Led by quarterback Terry Bradshaw, running back Franco Harris, and a legendary "Steel Curtain" defense that included Mean Joe Greene and Jack Lambert, the Steelers went 14-2 in the regular season and rolled through the playoffs en route to a 35-31 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl XIII. During the regular season, Bradshaw passed for 2,915 yards and 28 touchdowns, while Harris rushed for 1,082 yards and 8 touchdowns. The defense allowed just 195 points all season, the fewest of any team in the league. The 1978 Steelers remain one of the greatest teams in NFL history and are widely considered one of the greatest dynasty teams of all-time.
